Feeding Guide
Commence feeding at a rate of 0.5% of body weight/head/day. Increase gradually over a 3-week period to 1 - 1.5% of body weight or at rate required to achieve target feeding goals.
Ensure good quality roughage such as pasture, hay or straw is available at all times.
Feed in troughs, self-feeders or on the ground.
When feeding in self feeders, pellet intake can be regulated by manoeuvring the shutters, lowering the shutters will reduce intake.
Ensure sufficient trough space to minimise competition.
Ensure supply of fresh, clean drinking water at all times.
